    To surf the web, you need a browser. For a long time netscape was the
    only one avaiable one on linux, but since the mozilla source code was
    released as open source several projects have been started around it.
    Note: most of them are "work in progress"!
    
    mozilla		- the mozilla engine and browser by itself
    galeon		- a mozilla frontend for GNOME
    gnome-nautilus	- file-manager, viewer and browser for GNOME
    konqueror		- the same, but for KDE
    encompass		- fast and lightweight webbrowser based on gtkhtml
    lynx		- console based text browser with everything you need

    wget		- handy tool for downloads and mirroring

    internet:
	xchat		- a GTK+ based IRC client

    opera		- a linux port of opera's browser

    w3m			- another console bases browser, which can handle
			  frames and tables
