CD-RECORDING

The today's prefered media for transporting and archiving data and audio
is CD-R(W). With Linux you can burn your CD-R(W)s as good and comfortable
as you're used to make it on other operating systems. Here you will find
    the most used programs.

cdparanoia - with this tool you can make identical copies of
CD-DA in paranoic mode. It even tries to handle
scratched medias and repairs as much as possible.
cdr-tools - CDR-tools includes the real (and only) burn
applications. With mkisofs and mkhybrid you can
create the filesystem and afterwards burn it with
			  cdrecord.
    xcdroast - X-CDRoast is a well-known GTK+ front-end for
			  CDR-tools.
    gtoaster - Another front-end for CDR-tools
KCDLabel - KDE application to create labels and covers for your
CDs. It can fetch track infos from CDDB.
