
This are the ROCK Linux Sub-Distributions.

* NOTE: Only "install-disks", "rescue" and "read-only" are build on default! *


 - Installation Disks   (install-disks.tar.bz2)

     This contains the install boot and root disks.


 - ROCK Router Linux    (rock-router.tar.bz2)    [ only available on ix86 ]

     A floppy disk Linux to be used as Router, Firewall and/or Proxy Server.


 - Telnet Terminal      (telnet.tar.bz2)         [ only available on ix86 ]

     A floppy disk Linux which gets it's IP-Address using bootp or rarp and
     makes some telnet connections to a hardcoded server ip. It also comes
     with support for gpm.


 - User-Mode Linux

     A ROCK Linux based User-Mode Linux virtual machine. That can be used
     for software testing, virtual server housing, fun, whatever. Have a
     look at  http://download.sourceforge.net/user-mode-linux/ . For more
     information on User-Mode Linux. This subdistribution also contains
     some simple tools for the management of a big number of User-Mode
     Linux installations on the same host.


 - Rescue System        (rescue.tar.bz2)

     A minimal system (less than 250 MB) which contains everything that
     could be usefull when repairing a system - including a C compiler.

     The rescue system can also be used to (re)build ROCK Linux.


 - ROCK Read-Only       (rock-read-only.tar.bz2)

     A "patch" which makes ROCK Linux running on read-only devices
     like CD-ROMs.
